Coach, Why do you (any coach for that matter) even use this ridiculous term of "keeping your hands inside the ball?" As a teacher I would never use a term that to the learner is so confusing. And it is confusing both descriptively and visually. I have asked many a hitting student to tell me what THEY think it means to keep their hands "inside the ball" most give me a confused look while others say they never known and have never seen anyone hit a baseball with their hands "outside the ball" (visualize the term to understand that one) In every one of your videos especially "problem 2" where you say "now you can see CLEARLY that if the ball is down the middle the barrel is not behind the baseball..." What we CLEARLY DON'T see is "hands" outside the ball! At this point where you use the term CLEARLY the hands are STILL inside the baseball. So WHY use the term keep hands inside the baseball at all? How about showing me when a hitter "ever really" has their hands OUTSIDE the baseball? Fact is, your other terms, casting, hands away from the body etc. are perfectly fine and a learner can see and understand them CLEARLY. So if you care to, tell me why coaches, why you choose to continue to use a hitting term that makes little to no sense to the learner when using other more easily understood terms to describe the same thing is just plain easier.
